Bleed for Beauty

For those of you who have been following my blog, you know I've been growing out my hair for the past couple of month now. Well, today I cheated and had an additional 16 inches of extensions added after 4.5 excruciating hours, but it was well worth the pain. Things are different and I felt altering something in my phsyicality would complete the transition. Does anyone else ever feel like this?

I'm celebrating my 21st birthday tomorrow, even though it's not officially until Tuesday. I'm not going to lie. I made dinner reservations at Glowbal Grill & Satay Bar in hopes of a possible run-in with Robert Pattinson who celebrated his own birthday there two nights ago. My plan of having him fall unconditionally and irrevocably in love with me at first sight is in place. Just don't tell my boyfriend.

XOXO,

the hair is lovely. i totally understand what you mean, an outward sign of an inward change. my boyfriend and i broke up temporarily (though i didn't know at the time) a few years ago so i chopped and dyed and bleached my hair. completely different. just about everyone i know has changed their hair after a big change, especially breakups...it's weird!

I can definitely understand the urge/need to change something physically about yourself when your going through a life transition. I usually do a mix up with my hair as well. Its the easiest thing to change lol.

The hair looks great on you. And happy early 21st! I turn 21 in less than 2 weeks as well. Yay for May birthdays lol. Although mine unfortunately won't include a possible run-in with RP with me living in another province and all :(

i understand the wanting involved to "surprisingly" meet rp (i wont tell yours if you dont tell mine)
ps. if youre trying to grow your hair out, biotin and fish oil are the way to go
