I've come to realize a lot of the things I tend to find beauty and solace in have dark themes. I do enjoy the brighter things, but have a greater appreciation for the dark side. I also think Tim Burton is a genius.

Always had a passing appreciation for Tim Burton, but this is quite something! Love how everything seems choreographed colour-wise, they almost look like paintings, not photographs.
you have the same surname as me :D GO NGUYENS! i dont get how you find dark themes beautiful, they're so creepy. well scary cartoons like coraline are an exception because that movie was just too cool!

this is editorial is genius! i like the contrasts in the rose garden best..
I also find that while I do enjoy light airy fairy things I love things that are dark complex haunting and yet beautiful at the same time.
i think that's why I loved reading phantom of the opera and frankenstein (to name a few). I realised that while I hate watching horror movies i LOVE reading good old fashioned spooky novels. strange isn't it lol
