Hello From Calgary

Left to right: Wilfred tank top, Citizens of Humanity jeans, Alexander Wang dress (I believe every woman needs a cut-out LBD; I'm going to reject so many men in this), Chanel large Reissue 2.55 flap bag, Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella.

Random stuff I've collected since I arrived in Calgary that I wanted to share because, well, that's what people do on the Internet, right? As much as I hate this city sometimes, it will always be home.

XOXO,

I agree! Every women has to have a cut out LBD! I was eyeing one from Bec & Bridge however everytime I visit stores which stock them, there was none in my size and you need them to fit you perfectly to work! And now they no longer make them :(
So I'm still on the look out!
Can't wait to see the Alexander dress properly!

Also I've discovered a way to comment even though my URL doesn't work here. I'll use my old google account :)

"I'm going to reject so many men in this" - I read that and had the most evil smirk on. Muahaha! I need Alexander Wang anything and everything in my life.

And hey how's that book? What's it about? Any other good book recommendations? I need something!

I LOVED Twenties Girl. I think it's her best, or at least tied with The Undomestic Goddess - I love the 'good girl uncovers big nasty plot' storyline. Enjoy! I'd LOVE a cutout LBD, but I'd bulge out. I'm just going to go for the dress Robyn wears in the 'Dancing on my own' video.

I just had to attend a LBD cocktail function for work when I came upon the realisation that... I didn't really have any little black dresses that fit the bill, only ones I wore more casually!! So yes, you are spot on, every girl needs a hot LBD!

I totally love the write-up. I like the quote to fashion bloggers out there: "Don't copy and paste." I also especially love that they told er-body you be badass. You are.

Totally exhibited by your "I'm going to reject so many men in this." Oh my god, I died inside a bit from laughing inside so hard. I can't laugh out loud like that in this stuffy, stupid office. If I were at home, I'd probably be choking on juice.

You're absolutely right. No one does that kind of quintessential summer in the city girly/tomboyish and still sexy look like Hayden Harnett. I can't afford most of the looks I want, though. :(

XX.

I'm from Calgary too, well sort of: I lived there for 10 years. Sometimes I miss it but then when I go back to visit, I can't wait to leave.
