I don't think anyone can underestimate the importance of hair. It can instantly raise one's attractiveness or obliterate it. According to Hubert de Givenchy, it's also the final tip-off whether or not a person really knows themselves.
Someone once said to me, "Women should always have long hair." That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I understand that some women have an emotional attachment to their hair and fear they'll lose their femininity if it's cut too short, but those women need to get over it. It's hair; it grows back. I've already had three different styles and colors since having my extensions removed in February. I told you I get bored easily.
P.S. I really enjoyed reading everyone's facts from my previous post. There were quite a few that definitely made me laugh out loud.

Lily, you never fail to look so fiercely chic! Love it. Yeah I kinda had that same problem as well. Chopped off my hair last summer, and it was probably one of the best changes I've made to it.

I love it how you experiment with your hair! i've got really short hair as well and though I like it, I always find it hard to do different things with it.
Oh, and I COMPLETELY agree with you on the women with long hair subject. A good friend of mine has really long hair and the most horrible haircut. She doesn't go to a hairdresser only because she's affraid the'll cut off to much.
I think short looks much more stylish and somehow 'faster'. (and of course sexy!)

I could not agree more with you. I have never been one to keep a cut or color for too long. My hair mantra has always been: it will grow back. In all honesty, I feel most feminine with short hair!

I know what you mean. Hair grows back it's not like its' going to stay short permanently. I use to have really short hair too and experiment a lot with it. But I feel like for my job I have to have "normal" hair. =(
Women needing to have long hair is ridiculous.... you rock that short hair like no ones business.
I'm always a fan of growing my hair out really long then chopping it all off. But then again it grows at a ridiculous speed.

I also had an attachhment with my hair. I wanted it long and curly...but now my hair is short and I'm loving it. It gives me a more daring and sassy look. I'm so over that girl next door look, and so should other girls.

My hair is currently nearly to my hips.. I want to cut it all off in order to symbolize a time in my life where I'm letting go and doing what I want to be happy.(Plus, my parents recently got divorced, my dad loves my hair long, so I want it short. :p)
Locks of Love won't take my hair though because I've bleached it, which sucks. My thick-ass hair would make a freakin' awesome wig.

I love the title of this post! but not as much as I love your new curly 'do! I couldn't agree more about the importance of hair. Speaking of which, I'm going to see my stylist tomorrow. loving your hair curled! i use to always be really bored with my hair too and would constantly be dying and cutting my hair myself. i've kinda learned now though what does and doesn't look good on me. sort of.
like right now im in this funky ombre do, but only cause i haven't had a chance to go fix and touch up my roots. i've been thinking though that i oughtta go brunette and do the pin up bangs like beyonce. not sure if it'll look legit though - or like im just playing dress up.
