Sometimes I can be really socially awkward, like an elephant in the room. That's usually why I end up disassociating myself from people because I'd rather be a loner. Fortunately, there are a few individuals who make me feel otherwise, in which I get to reconnect with some of them tonight.

Wow, that's exactly how I feel. I'd prefer to stay home in the quiet getting stuff done rather than going out being surrounded by large groups of people.

I love being a loner. I work best by myself. Well, most of the time the only person I want to be around is my husband or my dog. I'm finding, the older I get the less I want to be around groups of people. I don't mind having small groups of friends, but for the most part, I'd rather just hang out one on one or one on two or something.
That reminds me, I need to get a great floppy hat. It's quintessential summer/fall.
