Ready for Fall
WILFRED FREE SWEATER, JNBY PANTS & SCARF, WILFRED BELT, BURBERRY PRORSUM SHOES
A few weeks ago Vanessa and I were invited to check out JNBY's new fall collection at their West 4th location. I briefly worked for JNBY, but left less than six months later. Nevertheless, I still like the clothes and this collection was no exception. Vanessa referred to these as kangaroo pants. Who needs pockets when you have a pouch hanging from your crotch? The scarf is neat too. You can't tell from the photo, but it can also be worn as fingerless mittens.
In regards to my trip, although I made very little attempts to document it, I can honestly say I enjoyed Toronto. The city moves at a faster pace than Vancouver which I love. I find the people I had the pleasure of encountering to be a lot friendlier too. Having Holt Renfrew, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Chanel all on one street didn't hurt either. I recently took a new job opportunity here in Vancouver. I'm going to give it all I got, but if things don't work out, rest assured I'll be on the next one-way flight back to Toronto.

I honestly can't say i like the pants, but everything else is lovely. Those shoes are HOT and the scarf is a great touch. Just looking through your blog and i really really like it. Just started blogging myself so i'm finding yours really inspiring. Plus you're really pretty :D
Those boots = AMAZING. The trousers are almost a skirt/trouser hybrid. Very chic. Love the way you've put them with the breton top and shearling booties.

Those shoes are probably my favourite item to come out of all the fall collections, so jealous of you that you've got them!
Vancouver is a bit slow for my liking, but it's good to know you can always hit up Toronto or wherever else if you need to switch it up!

So far this is one of my fave look from you. The sweater and the pant are not exceptionally flashy, but pair well enough that I'd probably turn around just to check out the outfit. I'm glad you paired the pant with stripes. It balances everything out.
And um, I'm absolutely LOVING the boots. It's definately the focal point of this look. Good call on buying them.
Good luck on your job opportunity. You never know how things work out until you give it a shot. Hopefully this is where you'll stay for the long term, but if all else fails, you've got plenty of time to search for a job that you truly love.

I got some shoes that are dead ringers for those in Urban Outfitters...they don't have the Burberry cred though. Oh well!

Oh dear... this is quite possibly the best outfit I've seen all month so far. The scarf, the horizontal striped lux wool sweater, the PANTS. Oh. My. God. The Pants.
I don't think I've seen anything like that before, ever... there have been so many iterations of the harem pant and drop crotch pant, but nothing like this. This almost looks like the early 2000s skirty pants look, but way, way, way cooler. Something you'd see on the very fashionable streets of Tokyo, but cooler.
Love them.
Question for you, is Wilfred on the more pricey side? I adore their new look book and want everything in it. But on a poor asst mgr (in insurance) salary, I can barely afford a nice trip to Zara.
