I'm Not Sorry

SANDRO CARDIGAN, AMERICAN APPAREL LONG SLEEVE, 7 FOR ALL MANKIND JEANS, H&M SOCKS, GUCCI SHOES, MICHAEL KORS WATCH

I stirred up quite a bit of discussion in the comment thread with my last post. I'm not a fan of sugar coating, obviously. I think it's important to write about topics other than just what we're wearing as though it merited documentation. That shit gets so boring after a while.

On that note, I booked a weekend trip to Calgary for later this month. As I get older, I'm realizing that as cliché as the saying goes, home (aka family) is truly where the heart is.

XOXO,

I always look forward to your outfit posts!! You're really one of my favourtie bloggers and I do enjoy hearing about your views, I like how you let your voice be heard and don't care what other people think.

I think it's nice to stir the pot once in a while; and get some blood boiling. Being outspoken (and your excellent sense of style) is definitely why I keep coming back to your blog.

I agree with the last comment. You bring REAL life to fashion. & YOU ARE my favorite. I look forward to your outfit posts, but I vibe with your thoughts & feelings toward everyday life issues. :)

i love those shoes, they're awesome! as for your last post, i applaud your ability to speak your mind and not give a crap about what everyone thinks. there are too many people who simply follow the crowd without trying to be unique; it's refreshing to see someone who is truly an individual and does their own thing. keep it up girl! :)

lol whoever was offended by that is seriously such a prude. as long as your intention wasnt to hurt anyones feelings, youre good. they can get over it.

also, you should visit h&m in sunridge mall when you come :) a lot of our staff are fans of your blog!

I truly respect how unapologetic you are about your opinions, especially in this sugar coated lovey-dovey blog world.

Also this outfit is awesome. Digging the chunky knit and the cute leopard socks! Also in dire need of a gold Men's watch (or at least Men's-inspired.)

Why should you be sorry? Just because you're a blogger with a ton of readers doesn't mean you should be nicey-nice to everyone without reason.

love the shoes. Tallll....

You're honestly one of the few bloggers that I respect. Not only do you hold true to yourself, but you hold true to your word. A woman of your word, obviously something that people are lacking nowadays. Lovin' those shoes with the socks :) You look fantastic as always. Have a nice time back home <3! Hold strong!

I love how this blog title follows after your last post, and why should you be sorry? I like that you don't sugar coat and tell it like it is. I think people are afraid to be that honest because they worry about what other people will think, whereas you don't. I admire that about you. I've been meaning to spice up my boring posts but always end up getting writer's block or something. We'll see!

Those leopard print socks are fierce! pun intended. And that cardigan is gorgeous; perfect for the fall/winter season.

Hope all is well with you too! Take care Lily xo

I feel you about how the importance of family just grows exponentially when you're an adult. I'm going home too this December for 3 weeks. I haven't gone back in 5 years! It's about time :)

I love, love that you speak your mind. I mean, after all, what's the point of a copyright and a blog space if you're not going to say what you think and feel? You just want to post useless photos and useless thoughts just to appease your readership and continue this apathetic, anti-intellectual social environment? No way.

I'm glad your brain works, and those inner workings make it to your mouth (fingers). I just wish other prominent bloggers would do the same, exhibit the same amount of thought.

Say what you want and never apologize. Stir that pot, and get people thinking. The more you inflame, the more you actually awaken your readers' latent brain power. I commend you, really.

It's good you're not sorry because you shouldn't have to be. No one should be penalized for stating how they truly feel. People should be penalized for being fake asses.

I found the discussion so entertaining. I actually read through all the comments. Hahaha.

I agree with the family issue. I wanted to move away for University but the thought of leaving my mom made me so sad. I love her too much :)

Omg everyone has a Michael Kors watch, I must be the last woman on Earth without one!

But yeah, everyone is entitled to their own opinion in the last post. I am anti-Ugg because living in Vancouver and seeing Uggs / Lululemon yoga wear made me want to slit my wrists and then people want to buy the Jimmy Choo version for £500 I'm like are people for real?

Anyway that's me ranting. Love those socks with the Gucci platforms btw

I think it's amazing how every comment on here is about how "amazing" you are. I think you're quite the run-of-the-mill bitch with nothing to say but money to show.

Will I see this comment in the list?

@So: Hahahaha! Of course I'd publish this. Why wouldn't I? I find it amusing your profile isn't available and there's no link to your blog. Chicken shit.

P.S. I have A LOT to say. If my blog pisses you off that much, though, I hereby liberate you to not visit and go find something better to do with your time. :)

Ahh! Calgary weather is quite nice right now! So hopefully when you come down it'll stay this way!

Does your mum live in Calgary ? I would hate to be away from my mum all the time haha, I'm such a creature of familiarity.
