Won't Go Home Without You
I have issues with making places feel like "home." When I moved to Vancouver at 19, everywhere else I lived always felt so temporary. It wasn't until a year ago I started to make a conscious effort to decorate—this is my current attempt (my bedroom and bathroom is still a work in progress). Side note: I'm still on the hunt for a black cowhide rug.

This is beautiful!!. I have not current place now, so I can't fully decorate my environment the way that I want to. But this is really classy :).
Ps: I really want to have a bigger walk in closet in the future, and decorate it like Christina aguilera's. Soon!!!

your desk is so neat lily! My desk is really messy. Like some notebook just threw up all over it. stacked magazines from yesteryear...make up...jewlery....and sewing supplies *_*
You should look on etsy for the cowhide. I really love the house stuff you can find there. so imaginative...and one of a kind.

YOU are so organized and neat. Such an inspiration to me. I'm determined to clean my room now. I love how orderly yet disorderly things look, it's perfectly worn in, but not at the same time? I make no sense. Contradicting self is contradicting.

My workspace is cluttered and gross. You'd hate it.
Your workspace looks loads better than mine. In fact, your entire apartment is loads better than my condo. Whenever I think of Decor, my mind thinks of the glamour of your apartment and similar stylings in magazines, but when I start to pick stuff out, those visions fizzle.
I think you've seen photos of my house. It feels very... Ikea. My bedroom will stay in it's Dorm Like state until we're ready to move to Hawaii in a year. And then when we're in Hawaii, our decor will largely be based on whether our apartment is furnished and if not, it will be decorated in the all manner of yuck that is Pacific Islander style. I HATE Islander decor. The palettes are such design barf. Maybe I should entice you with free home cooked meals if you visit me in Hawaii and help me decorate in 2012. Good excuse to visit Hawaii...

LOVE how you decorated the apartment! I kind of feel where you're coming from though... I just graduated this summer and am back home, but I am re-vamping my room myself to make it a more modern day me, not me when I was in grade 10 lol... BUT I do have plans to move out next summer, but either way, I think it's worth it! And good luck to you finding that cow hide rug girl!
