Family First

This is my latest tattoo, and maybe the most original yet. It's dedicated to my parents; the two most incredible people I know. The first two Chinese characters mean "family", and the following two means "the utmost superior/the most important". Ngan Siu-Mui, a Montreal-based artist and expert in traditional Chinese calligraphy, designed it for me using crazy cursive script. Thanks, Ngan!
I often get asked why I like tattoos so much. I got my first one when I was 16 and have obviously gone ink crazy ever since. To put it shortly, tattoos to me are a productive pain. It's the only pain in life that I'm aware of where you choose to hurt, but even as you're hurting, you know exactly what you're going to get out of it. Plus my tattoo artist is cute. There, I said it.
XOXO,

AMERICAN APPAREL RAGLAN PULLOVER, SIWY SEQUIN LEGGINGS, STELLA MCCARTNEY SHOES, GUCCI WATCH
...running errands in my sequin leggings (more like pants if you ask me). No big deal. This is my last outfit post with my hair up. Thursday I'm having my extensions removed. Knowing me, I'll probably have them put in again in six to eight months. I also need to get my hair color retouched in the most ridiculous way. It's looking too brassy, but unfortunately I have to wait until next Friday. Can't trust the hair to just any ol' body.
ETA:

Bex of The Styling Bee drew this adorable cartoon portrait of me. Thanks, girlie!
XOXO,
