Shopping is My Cardio

Here's the video from Friday's event courtesy of Gab of Aurora LightWorks. For those of you who were wondering, my dress is by Brian Lichtenberg.
P.S. I've been asked to promote other people's shit on my blog more than usual lately. Unless I offered to help to begin with and/or you've given me a reason to care, fuck off. That's all.
XOXO,

Reunited and It Feels So Good

A huge thank you to Terracotta, Tinu Adesugba and everyone who came to the event on Friday night. The turnout was fantastic and it was wonderful to meet new faces, and of course to see familiar ones. A video of the event to come.
XOXO,

Update

LE FOU BY WILFRED BLOUSE & PANTS, CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN SHOES, CHANEL BAG
These last few days have been eventful to say the least. I'm slowly but surely getting back into work mode after taking the summer off. I'm also reminding myself you won't be able to fully experience a book just by reading the summary on the back. It's important to explore the pages, know the beginning and track the progress of action. Maybe then you can find and appreciate the beauty in the story. If you think I'm only talking about books, you're obviously clueless.

Ready for Fall

WILFRED FREE SWEATER, JNBY PANTS & SCARF, WILFRED BELT, BURBERRY PRORSUM SHOES
A few weeks ago Vanessa and I were invited to check out JNBY's new fall collection at their West 4th location. I briefly worked for JNBY, but left less than six months later. Nevertheless, I still like the clothes and this collection was no exception. Vanessa referred to these as kangaroo pants. Who needs pockets when you have a pouch hanging from your crotch? The scarf is neat too. You can't tell from the photo, but it can also be worn as fingerless mittens.
In regards to my trip, although I made very little attempts to document it, I can honestly say I enjoyed Toronto. The city moves at a faster pace than Vancouver which I love. I find the people I had the pleasure of encountering to be a lot friendlier too. Having Holt Renfrew, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Chanel all on one street didn't hurt either. I recently took a new job opportunity here in Vancouver. I'm going to give it all I got, but if things don't work out, rest assured I'll be on the next one-way flight back to Toronto.
XOXO,

Back from Toronto

I got my hair cut. It's now the shortest its ever been (so much for growing it out). I also got a perm. Yes, that's right, a perm.
Have I mentioned I feel the need to leave this city as soon as possible? Which reminds me, I better start packing. Goodbye Vancouver, hello Toronto!
XOXO,

Head vs. Heart

What happens when your heart and mind are in conflict? Do you follow your heart's desire or do you listen to the sound voice of reason? Yet, doesn't the heart know reason that reason doesn't understand? I do think with my mind, but more often than not, I act with my heart. In the long run, I don't know what good that'll do me.
Thank you to everyone who entered the Charlie & Lee promo code giveaway. Mae of thereafterish is the winner (congrats, girl!). Another reader asked me what's the craziest thing I've ever done for love. Two words: long-distance. What a stupid thing to do. Looking back, I'm not even sure if I ever truly loved before or if it was only circumstance that had me shaken.
