I read somewhere, "If you keep having to ask where you stand with someone, maybe it's time to start walking away." Well, shit. Although my black heart is going to hate me for admitting this, I'm your hopelessly in love with love romantic type of fool. I believe in the butterflies, the twinkle, the giggly feeling, the smiles, the happily ever afters and the song that only you can hear. I also believe learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all. Just ask (pre-crackish) Whitney.
As I said before, I'll take care of me, and you'll take care of you. Then when we're both ready, we'll take care of us. Well, I'm ready and have been for a while now. I don't mind putting myself out there; however, I'll only go so far for someone. There's a limit to what I can take and I'll be damned if I cross that line. Worthy or not, I cannot fully pour my heart and soul out when I feel that what I'm offering is far less than what I'm receiving in return. Call it a flaw if you must, but I need reassurance. When I reach out and extend my hand, take it, because too little, may very well be too late. All those who can relate, say "I".

I wrote this yesterday. It's funny how quickly my mood can change. I can sleep easy now.

Bang your head on the desk, shoot fucking reason into someone's brain, what the fuck is he thinking, there's just something about him, I don't know where my mind is going, I just don't get it kind of feeling. You know what I mean.
But there's just that "there's something about Mary" sort of essence to someone you can't overlook, and it's there, and you have no clue what it is, and you just need to stick around until you figure out what it is. :)

We just talked about it. You make me happy, even when we're banging our heads on the desk together asking, "seriously, dude, what the fuck?" and laughing about the crazy confusing mess life is.
But like we said, "If you stop asking questions, stop asking 'is this right for me, is this the right thing, are we going in the right direction, am I still happy', you're either dead, or it's time to change ."

Haha I love the little postscript on the bottom...so many times I've raged in my diary only to wake up the next day with a little PS at the bottom: "...so....things are okay now". At the same time, getting things out there on paper (or the web for that matter) is sometimes the cathartic trigger that you really need. Glad everything is okay now :)

As much as I hate to admit it, I'm a hopeless romantic deep down too. At times I can be stubborn and heartless but I love the butterflies, the twinkles and all that jazz. That's probably why I cry so easily in the sappiest movies.
