Wanderlust

ALICE + OLIVIA DRESS, CHRISTIAN DIOR SHOES

As the title suggests, I'm a bit of a nomad with a severe case of wanderlust.

Also, as promised, here's my belated birthday shoot with Tessa. We shot this in beautiful Central Park, located on the Vancouver-Burnaby border.

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes and blessings. You all helped make it a very happy birthday.

Reflect and Reset

It's officially my birthday and I'm starting it off by working overtime. Apparently just because you turn 24 doesn't mean that you don't have to work to make your dreams and goals come true. Fortunately, I'll be spending the rest of the long weekend with my boyfriend. The best gifts to give and receive are the ones you can share with your loved ones.

Speaking of birthdays, they're a good time to reflect and reset. Stay tuned for next week's belated birthday shoot with Tessa. It's going to be a goodie.

H&M MOTORCYCLE JACKET, ZARA BLOUSE, T.BABATON SHORTS, DV BY DOLCE VITA SHOES, CHANEL BAG, VINTAGE CHARM HEADBAND C/O OBVIOUSLY CHIC, GUCCI WATCH

Asian Gossip Girl gone batshit crazy is how I'd best describe this outfit.

It gives me immense pleasure to share with you all the great news that the fashionista behind OBVIOUSLY CHIC boutique, and my fellow Blanche Macdonald classmate, Jessica Cote, is offering one reader a egift certificate of $100!

To enter, all you have to do is "Like" OBVIOUSLY CHIC and BLEED FOR FASHION on Facebook, and comment on this post with your name and email address. Open worldwide, the winner will be chosen by Jessica herself next Monday, May 14th. Good luck to everyone that enters!

On a separate note, lately I've been thinking about how people are who they are; never who you want them to be—and the only way to keep from getting hurt is to stop looking at them through rose-colored glasses. How can you expect people to stay real when you refuse to see or accept them for who they really are? Just food for thought.
