My friend Alycia took these shots of me just before the Foster the People concert yesterday at Deer Lake Park. It's funny how quickly things can change.
Do you ever feel like you have to hold your head up high and put on an illusion of a near perfect existence? So many things I've swallowed silently, holding in troubles while imprisoning these faulty thoughts. It's a surprise to me that I haven't yet physically wilted from such constant mental exhaustion.
Without going into too much detail, this evening I received some devastating news. It's the worst feeling in the world not knowing what to do and how to handle the hurdles up ahead, but as the saying goes, "this too shall pass." Now the only question is when. Patience was never my strong suit. Until then, the struggle continues.
