As if I wasn't awkward enough in front of the camera, I finally let my boyfriend take photos of me.
Next Thursday he and I will be flying to Calgary for my best friend's wedding. Not only am I looking forward to being a part of her special day, I'm looking forward to seeing my family and showing my boyfriend my hometown.
In the meantime, I'm on day 5 of my 10-day work week, and there's still so much I have to do. I haven't slept and I've been wearing the same outfit repeatedly, but at least it's a good one.

With regards to my last post, thank you to those who continue to send positive vibes, thoughts and prayers for strength and love during this difficult time. This is not to say my life is in tumult. I've just reached a point where I feel as if my world is suffocated, and I'm desperately searching for a breath of fresh air.
On a happier note, it finally feels like summer in Vancouver. I say, when you're young, wear as little clothes as possible. You have the rest of your life to be tacky and overdecorated. Grandma won't be wearing cutoffs.
