Hello Lover

ZIP UP SWEATER: JNBY. TANK TOP, SOCKS: AMERICAN APPAREL. PLATFORM SANDALS: YSL.

New shoes and haircut. Last week was an eventful week. This week's agenda: New tattoo and retouch hair color (it's looking too brassy). I can't seem to stop wearing socks with my high heels, or black, white and grey, for that matter. It sure beats the hell out of getting a pedicure, though. A big thank you to my Holt Renfrew go-to shoe girl, Charlene, for ordering these for me. For all your shoe shopping needs, ask for her. She's the best.

P.S. Why are some people so drama driven? You're old news, love, old news for a reason.

P.P.S. Go, Canada, go!

XOXO,

If I Were a Boy

JACKET: VEDA. CARDIGAN: VINCE. TANK TOP, SOCKS: AMERICAN APPAREL. HAREM PANTS: EVER. BOOTIES: CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN.

Failed attempt of doing a side braid. I'm bringing a whole new meaning to socks and sandals. I wore these Christian Louboutin 'Deva' booties to death during the summer. Thank goodness for Parson's Shoe Re-New for bringing them back to life again.

Speaking of shoes, move over Gucci, these are now at the top of my must-have list for spring right now. It also comes in a tan leather color which I'm considering. With Valentine's Day around the corner, I assure you I'd much rather have a warm somebody next to me than any material trend, but a pair of YSL shoes is good too.

WRAPAROUND CARDIGAN, JEANS: ALICE + OLIVIA. TANK TOP: AMERICAN APPAREL. PUMPS: YSL.

Here's an update:
  • Thank you as always for the wonderful comments and emails. I promise I'll get back to you guys tonight.

  • As some of you already know, I no longer work with Gucci. At first I was upset, then I got pissed, now I don't care. When one door closes, another one opens. This past Tuesday I started my new job as MIT for JNBY. If you don't know what either of those abbreviations stand for, I feel sorry for you.

  • I wore these YSL 'Faubourg' pumps on my first day. I was told I would only last 3 hours in them before bringing out my flats. I officially lasted for 6. Mission = Success.

  • My mom came for a quick visit earlier this week. I always feel like I gain 10 lbs when she's here; 20 if my dad comes too. After living on your own, you grow accustomed to buying more clothes and less food... Or maybe that's just me?

  • I've decided that I'm going to have my extensions removed and go back to short hair in early February. I get bored of my look easily.

  • For all you Facebook loyals, I've also decided to create a Fan Page. Add me if you haven't already. All the cool people are doing it hehe.

FAUX FUR COAT: H&M. LACE DRESS: TALULA. PUMPS: CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN.

"It's really hard to walk in a single woman's shoes — that's why you sometimes need really special shoes!" - Sex and the City

My three favorite things at the moment: Fur, lace and glitter. Lots of glitter. This is impulse buying at its finest. These Christian Louboutin platform peep-toe pumps are quite possibly the best thing that's ever happened to me. If diamonds are a girl's best friend, then shoes are her lovers. Agreed?

Both of these are on my must-have list for spring. They're perfect to watch TV in, among other things, of course.

BOYFRIEND SHIRT: TALULA. T-SHIRT: CHRISTOPHER KANE. JEANS: SIWY. BOOTIES: GUCCI.

Quick snapshots before I leave for work. At long last, my Gucci 'Kills' open-toe platform booties have arrived. 5.5 inches of pure bliss, aaaah.

T-SHIRT, BOOTS: ALEXANDER WANG. JEANS: J BRAND. WATCH, BAG: GUCCI.

These boots and jeans arrived this morning from Shopbop. Shopbop is one of the few websites I order from and securely feel that the pieces are going to look even better in real life. I always prefer to do most of my shopping online for a couple of reasons. One being to avoid pesky and/or bitchy sales associates. Funny, I know, since I work as one... But I swear I'm neither of those. Well, maybe on some days haha.

For those of you who were wondering, the illustration in my header was done by Lovisa Burfitt, a Swedish illustrator based in Paris. You can view more of her incredible work here.

How best to describe these Gucci open-toe platform booties? Two words: Fucking amazing. Obviously these are at the top of my must-have list for fall.

TOP, SHORTS: CLUB MONACO. PUMPS, BAG, NECKLACE, EARRINGS: CHANEL.

Quick snapshot before I leave for work of what I'm going to wear tonight for a friend's birthday. My initial plan was to embrace pastel and nude colors so a pair of Christian Louboutin 'Decollete' nude patent pumps or 'Simple' taupe leather pumps (I'm very specific) would've been ideal but unfortunately, Holt Renfrew didn't have my size in either. Oh well. If all else fails, wear Chanel.
